Diversity is an issue of particular importance to Decathlon. Our managers maintain diversity within their teams by recruiting a wide range of profiles, all with different qualifications and from various backgrounds. Thanks to internal careers management policies, employees recruited in their native country can decide to continue their professional development by working in other areas of the world. Little surprise, then, that we have no fewer than 94 different nationalities working at Decathlon.
Since the start of 2010, France has introduced diversity managers who are responsible for disability, age diversity and workplace equality.
The first disability agreement was signed in 1999. 2014 saw us celebrate 15 years of this initiative, which we embodied by signing a 5th agreement with our social partners.
